T-REX LTE Purpose: This event is hosted by the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW R&E) Mission Capabilities (MC) to demonstrate the operational application of Low-Cost Short Range Air Defense (L-SHORAD) to include Containerized Munitions, Surface-to-Air Interceptors, and LUCAS. The Operationally relevant environment will enable the technical maturity and military utility relevant to border security. Findings will bolster out current Body of Evidence (BoE) to support Senior Leader acquisition decisions, accelerating the transitionof Warfighting capabilities. This exercise provides the unique opportunity to demonstrate your capability which will directly inform selection and acquisition of best-in-class solutions to meet mission requirements; both CONUS and OCONUS.
